Adam is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) and the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT). He has already spent many years at director and partner level, gaining broad and in-depth experience in private client work for wealthy individuals as well as in bespoke tax planning. Adam specialises in tax-efficient asset holding and wealth preservation structures. Adam firmly believes in the 'life cycle' approach to tax planning, beginning with the asset purchase and holding structure, debt structuring and ongoing transactional planning, followed by the implementation of a tax-efficient exit strategy. Adam is also involved with international tax matters, especially in connection with offshore trusts and companies, and non-UK domiciled individuals. He takes a keen interest in corporate transactional work such as mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs and buy-ins, as well as corporate reconstructions and partitions. On a personal note...Adam continues to 'invest' in his Aston Villa season ticket and spends most of his spare time listening to unpopular music and correcting his attempted DIY handywork.
Suzanne is also a member of the CIOT and ATT. She started her career at one of the big four accountancy practices, working in both corporate and private client departments, before moving to be a Director and then Partner at an independent firm of tax advisers. Suzanne concentrates on private client work, having acted as a trusted adviser to high net worth individuals for many years. The true essence of her work encompasses that of a family office, looking after business and personal matters for our clients, their families and associated businesses. She has extensive experience in offshore trusts for both UK domiciled and non UK domiciled individuals. Suzanne also specialises in supporting sports personalities with their tax planning. Because sports professionals’ playing careers usually span a relatively short period of time, Suzanne sets in place tax planning structures (such as image rights companies) to help them maximise opportunities while thinking ahead to their retirement. On a personal note... Whatever the weather, when not at work Suzanne can often be found on the golf course or tennis court. At home the garden takes up the rest of her spare time - although she is definitely no expert!
